This song is a second attempt at an idea I started a few years ago and never finished. It was intended to be spooky, scary, and other adjectives you might hear on Halloween.

I loved the melody, especially when played crunchy by the harpsichord. But I got to a certain point in the song and gave up, because where do you go with something like this?

It turns out, you don't have to go anywhere. You don't have to be anything. You can stay right where you are. let time pass, and enjoy the moment.

I finished the song by doing less. Fewer sections, fewer instruments, just less of everything. And it paid off, because now, instead of being trapped on my computer, unknown to anyone, you can hear it, and maybe enjoy it.

The song recalls an old PlayStation game I used to play when I visited my dad. I thought it was called SimCoaster, but searching Wikipedia, the game appears to be called Sim Theme Park. I can only describe it as an unholy fusion between Rollercoaster Tycoon and Banjo Kazooie, complete with funky vibes and saturated colors. It was an awesome game that I played to death, and I especially loved Halloween World. Building roller coasters out of skeletons and pathways out of the wood from a haunted house. It was as endearing as it was cliched.

I hope that this song captures the feeling of every Halloween World in every forgotten game. It's kitschy and it's a place I like.
